The Springvale and Keysborough Community Hubs are participating in a Christmas Giving Drive from Wednesday 26 November to Sunday 14 December 2025.
The community are invited to donate new items this festive season to support people living in poverty. All donations received will go to local organisations helping the community.
If donating food items, please ensure use by dates are current. If you would like to buy a toy to donate, please consider buying a gift for a child aged 10+ years.
Donations can be dropped off underneath the Christmas Trees at Springvale and Keysborough Community Hubs from Wednesday 27 November until Sunday 14 December.
The list below is a guideline of the items that are most needed within our community
Food items
- Olive or vegetable oil
- Chickpeas
- Kidney beans
- Flour
- Rice (Basmati/Jasmine)
- Tinned tuna
- White or brown sugar
- Coffee/Tea
- Coconut milk
- Long life milk
- Halal snacks
- Instant noodles
- Baby formula
Hygiene products
- Sanitary pads
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste/Toothbrush
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Soap
- Toilet paper
- Hand sanitiser
- Razors
- Baby wipes
Cleaning products
- Detergent
- Disinfectant
- Toilet cleaner
- Washing powder
Clothing (items must be new with labels attached and in original packaging)
- Underwear and socks for men, women and children
Gifts (please do not wrap)
- Please consider gifts for all ages and some special treats like chocolate and sweets (no perishable items)
Donations can be dropped off underneath the Christmas Tree at both the Springvale and Keysborough Community Hubs from Wednesday 26 November to Sunday 14 December 2026.
