Vehicle Crossing Permits

A vehicle crossing is the part of your driveway that crosses the footpath and nature strip and meets the road. It lets cars and other vehicles enter and exit your property.

Before building or widening a vehicle crossing, you need a vehicle crossing permit. All residential vehicle crossing permit applications must first be assessed before a permit can be issued.

How to apply for a permit

From Friday 1 July 2022, all Vehicle Crossing Permit Applications will need to submitted via an Online Portal (see 'Apply' button below). Council will no longer be accepting paper or email copies of the application form.
