Returning in 2024 for its 12th year and with even more excitement, this acclaimed event promises a day of thrills and delights for all ages.
Join in on the seasonal festivities as Springvale transforms into a magical winter wonderland for the highly anticipated annual Springvale Snow Fest on Sunday 28 July.
Dive into the snowy fun with snow play areas brimming with real snow, freshly delivered from the slopes of Mt Buller. Explore an exciting new sport in the Make Your Move Sports Zone or partake in a range of family rides ($6-$8), tantalizing food trucks, and captivating market stalls.
New for 2024, Optus will be on-site and making moments that matter with the local community. Have a shot at a huge soccer dart for your chance to win some amazing giveaways, have a play in the snow but never miss a moment of the main stage action courtesy of the Optus Truck Screen and if that's not enough, check out the Optus face painting tent for free festive face painting.
As dusk falls, prepare for a dazzling finale fireworks display brought to you by Optus, illuminates the night sky in spectacular fashion. The Optus fireworks display will commence at 6.50pm and will be synchronised to some winter classics, marking the perfect conclusion to a day filled with winter enchantment.
Live entertainment will fill the air at the main stage at Queens Avenue and on special performance platform in multicultural place.

How do i get to the event?
The event will take place on Buckingham Avenue, Springvale.
- Springvale Train Station is a short 5 minute walk from the event site
- Bus routes 813, 814 and 902 operate in close proximity to the event
- If you must drive, we encourage you to car-share with friends and family. Limited Parking is available close by to the event site. Please obey all parking restrictions.
Is there a cost to attend?
No, this is a free event for the entire community to enjoy. Please note that there will be a cost for the amusement rides ($6-8).
We encourage you to check out the array of food and market stalls - costs will apply.
Should you require an ATM, there is options available in the Springvale Shopping Centre and at nearby bank branches.
Can I bring my pet?
The event is pet-friendly, however attendees considering bringing their furry friends will need to be mindful that the event is very busy with foot traffic and noise and there is also a fireworks display in the evening.
All pets will need to be on leash.

When are the fireworks and where is the best place to view them?
The Optus Fireworks display will take place at 6.50pm.
The best and safest viewpoint for the fireworks will be from in front of the main stage at Queens and Buckingham Avenue.
How will I know where to find the activity I am looking for at the event?
Prior to the event there will be a fun festival map to download which will indicate all of the main areas for you to navigate too.
This map will also be available at the event or you can ask one of our friendly council volunteers or staff for assistance on the day.
